Most people know that I don’t like reality TV. Hate it. There are a few shows I can actually stomach (Top Chef, Runway, Design Star) and that is only when I can DVR the episode. My method of watching skills-based reality TV is to see what the challenge is, fast forward through 45 minutes of useless drama, and then see what the contestants come up with.
That being said… I love this gif:
It is nice to be home after a week long business trip. I am promising myself that I will not do any work for the next few days… but who am I kidding.
Big thank you to Uncle Phillip for taking care of Zan and Jayna while I was away.
This happens to me regularly with two cats. I can’t imagine what it is like for Uncle Phillip when he has to take care of four.
Macy’s is having a content to design the next balloon for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Entrants get a solid white elf to paint and submit it online. Then, people with facebook. accounts can vote for their favorite elf and the winner gets turned into a balloon for the parade.
Phillip has entered the following design for an elf he has named “Jimmy HoHo.”

From the email from Phillip: “When we entered the contest, they asked for the name and backstory for the elf. I tried to come up with something cute and festive. I think it might have come across as a little kinky. My dream is to hear the parade commentators say ‘Jimmy HoHo’with a straight face.”
This one made me tear up (just like the launch). The Shuttle Close Out Crew is a group of people who make sure that the Astronauts are all situated and properly closed into the orbiter before launch. They strap them in. They close the doors. They are the last people to see the shuttle crew face to face before they go into space.
